Art and Design Curriculum

Year 2 thoroughly enjoyed using slip to decorate their African clay masks. They researched different styles of African masks and made fantastic observations. They learnt a new technique, sgraffito, where they scraped away the dry slip to leave African style markings. We can’t wait to see what they look like when they come out of the kiln.
